My Passion
Beyond my Redeemer and living daily for Him, those he has put in my daily sphere, and family, NubAbility Athletics Foundation is my passion. NubAbility is my mission field. It is an honor and a gift to serve daily in a community where the unique work of the Master is highlighted and accepted.
What is NubAbility?
NubAbility Athletics Foundation, a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit gets kids with limb-loss, out of the stands, off the bench and into the game of mainstreamed organized sport.
We coach kids how to learn life through sport by giving them the opportunity to compete.
Nub: What we call our limb-different limb. Ability: Being able to.
We use the POWER of MENTORSHIP to motivate and encourage. Our over 60 accomplished limb-different athletes as coaches of our ALL VOLUNTEER organization fosters confidence in athletic performance and a positive self-image by having already walked in the shoes or blades of the youth they serve at our events.
We teach that all are perfectly and perfectly created as God says in Psalm 139:13-14 states.
13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
